Answered Prayers!

THANK YOU ALL so much for the many prayers that went up for me last week as I faced breathing problems and was just overwhelmed by all the paperwork that was given to me. Now I am asking you to PRAISE GOD with me for all He has done. My lungs are doing so much better. I did not even have to take any meds last week because my breathing had improved so much. Continue to pray for them as I travel back out to the village this week and will be out in the dust more. I got my budget for 2011 done and finished other things on my list. The cloud of being overwhelmed is slowing disappearing so that is a HUGE PRAISE.

Pray as I head out to the village this week. I will be meeting with my two woman's groups, Jak and other people in Kar. Jak and I will be traveling to 4 different villages....two on Tues and two on Wed. Pray as the one on Tues have three men that are really excited about hearing God's word. Pray for our time with them. Also pray for the trip on Wed. we will be meeting with the new chief since the old one passed away last month. Pray that he is as open to hearing God's Word as the last one. I will give you an update when I return on Friday, April 23rd. Until then...walk in peace and share the light!

  6. Hey girl.. I don't know if we can use our usually greeting or not; I sure don't want to get you in trouble...things are going great in Arkansas.. I think we are having "blackberry winter" it is so nice and cool.. Bill is painting his shop; since his garden spot is still wet and he can not start plowing yet. I am diligently reading and praying using the journal/book that you gave to the Life Group when you came to Central.. Buck is getting weaker and weaker; they found some more cancer growth recently and now he is doing some clinical trials (experiments).. their faith is such an evidence of God's blessings on them at this time.. he calls his wheel chair "his chariot of fire"... one of his Mongolian doctor friends is here visiting them now; Buck baptized him in the bath tub while they were serving in Mongolia. The other doctors in Mongolia, family and friends took up an offering to assist him in his travels.. this is truly a gift from God to Buck and Pam at this time..I am confident that he will observe their faith and trust in the Lord and will take all of this knowledge back with him to share with those in Mongolia. Pam asked me to organize a special night for him while he is in J/Boro; asking those who had been on a team traveling to Mongolia from Central while Buck and Pam were serving there; plus those who had served meals to the Mongolian doctors each time they came to Arkansas to study with Buck at his hospital (they came several times during the past 10 years)..the church members did this to help Pam in her caring for those doctors.. it has been a joy to plan this for her; it will be a fun night (I think there are 26 who will be able to attend).. Buck wants to share some of his "kill" (I think it will be venison) and the others will bring veggies and desserts..plus I am making homemade rolls.. you can know we will sing, pray, and praise the Lord for His goodness.. He is a "mighty God".. I am trusting this volcano ash will be gone by the time you and Sherry need to travel.. take lots of pictures/I want to see them.. love ya.. # 1
